Module content | Introduction to the basic concepts of urban and regional planning. The planning process, policy and institutional framework in which planning functions in South Africa. The interaction and co-operation of land and space, economy, politics and social aspects related to space in decision making and the support thereof. Interventions with regard to normative principles for sustainable development planning and design, definitions and rationale with land-use management and the strategic integrated development planning process. |
